Job Responsibilities

  • Constant endeavor to achieve the monthly patient target (OPD&IPD) assigned by the authority
  • Formulate marketing strategy, and coordinate and monitor its implementation to achieve optimum expansion of service.
  • Visit community doctors and key opinion leaders at different institutions and chambers to inform them about the facilities of Zainul Haque Sikder Women’s Medical College & Hospital-Gulshan Br.
  • Regular follow-up with existing/ potential customers.
  • Market survey related to health services as when advised by management.
  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships.
  • Create awareness of and develop the brand image of the hospital.
  • Analyze and identify market requirements for current and future activities by conducting market research supported by visits to customers such as pharmacies, G.P, Specialist Doctors & Diagnostic centers, etc.
  • Any other responsibilities are given by the Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals, including market segmentation, competitor analysis, and identification of new market opportunities.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and qualify high-value leads, build relationships with key decision-makers at potential clients, and proactively source new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage existing client relationships at the executive level, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving repeat business through up selling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Complex Deal Negotiation: Lead complex contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and service level agreements, to secure profitable deals.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other companies to expand market reach and product offerings.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and coaching to junior business development team members, overseeing their performance and development.
  • Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
  • Presentation Development and Delivery: Prepare compelling presentations to pitch new business opportunities to potential clients, including customized proposals and value propositions.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on business development performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in complex business development roles, with a demonstrable history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of the industry landscape, key players, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute effective business development plans.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a sales team.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales automation tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA) may be preferred.

Employment Status

Educational Requirements

  • Honors /Master’s Degree in Marketing from Public or Private University; advanced degrees (MBA) may be preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in health care (hospital) marketing.
  • Must be result-oriented, having proven technical and leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills.

Salary

  • According to the Hospital Salary structure.
  • For extensive experience and qualifications, the salary and position will be negotiable.
