  • Higher Secondary

Experience

  • Business Administration, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement/store (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of medical supplies, hospital consumables, and local vendors is an advantage.
  • Basic IT knowledge: MS Office, ERP/HMS software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and record-keeping skills.
  • Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Ensure excellent service standards, maintain quality of service, respond efficiently to the need of the authority and develop customer as well as management satisfaction as priority.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and collecting quotations.
  • Support vendor selection, negotiation, and follow-up for timely delivery.
  • Maintain updated records of suppliers, price lists, and purchase agreements.
  • Ensure procurement follows hospital policy and cost-effectiveness.

Store & Inventory Management

  • Receive, verify, and record incoming goods (medical consumables, equipment, pharmacy items, general supplies).
  • Maintain proper stock levels through routine checks and audits.
  • Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and ensure first-in-first-out (FIFO) usage.
  • Issue items to departments as per approved requisitions.
  • Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain computerized records of purchases and stock using HMS/ERP or manual registers.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and purchase reports.
  • Report shortages, discrepancies, and damaged items immediately to the supervisor.
  • Assist in annual stock-taking and audits.
